I read all the evaluations ahead of I tried this product. I am pretty concerned and picky shopper. I thought I would give this a try. I believe the important to this item is the flooring you are applying this on. The foot on the lock operates excellent on title or wood. I would not suggest this product on carpet.
One important point to keep in mind...the farther away you have the base from the door the less strength it has. Attempt to get it amongst 70 degrees and 80 degrees.
